It presents a summary of the results of key deliverables from SRS activities implemented by CRIHSS Foundation in the North Region for the month of December 2022, focusing on the trends observed. It provides updates on the overall performance and details on the challenges and mitigation strategies implemented.
Introduction
CRIHSS Foundation in Collaboration with the ICAP North Region Team continues to play a critical role in the delivery of quality care and treatment services to the PLHIV community in the North Region by strengthening the sample transport system. We provide quality and uninterrupted SRS activities that serve as a link for patients in underserved areas to HIV testing services. This includes but is not limited to viral Load monitoring. Our Business Process Management and Continuous Improvement (BPMCI) Model continues to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of our SRS (sample referral services) to 29 PEPFAR supported Health facilities distributed in 14 health Districts within the region of the North. We have put in place an SRS model designed with hubs where we provide SRS from hub to testing/referral lab.
